The department consists of English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. It has been functioning since the inception of college in 2008. It serves to all the core branches and plays a vital role in imparting knowledge of English language and the prime concepts through the basic sciences viz. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics etc. in the first year and preparing the students ready to procure the domain knowledge in their core branches.
The English communication skills and Life skills lab also an integral part of the department to impart the knowledge and improve skills in all the four dimensions of communication viz. Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. The life skills lab supplies the essential life skills which are primary in the career of a professional being, and makes them an absolute engineer and a complete man.
